After much hard work and anticipation we are official up and running. Our first episode should be hitting the site and syndication on October 1st, 2019. We would like to offer our extreme gratitude and special thanks to everyone that has helped this be possible.
While our first episode is launching on 10/1/2019, we will still be working out some of the bugs and getting a few things adjusted and set up. Additionally, we are still working on getting into our groove with things. As a result, the first three or four episodes of our discussions series ran way long. Our goal is to have our discussions episodes be about 20 minutes to 30 minutes long, 40 minutes at most. We want our users to be able to watch or listen to them why they are getting ready for work, on a commute, at lunch, or cooking dinner.
Another change that will occur is that we are removing the news and jobs portion of the discussions series. Those can be found in the spotlight series which will be available as a quick briefing to start or end your day to. Because the spotlight episodes are shorter they are able to be produced faster. This means less delay between the recording and the release. Spotlights are starting out on a minimal schedule of one per week but will be increased as we progress. In a spotlight you can expect development news, jobs, component mentions, and application or developer profiles. They will be available on all your favorite apps as well as Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
Thank you for your patients and we hope you are as excited about this as we are!
